SQ3R Workshop

The second step in SQ3R is to Question. The primary task during your Questioning phase of your study is to:Image of Question Mark

- Create questions out of the title, headings, and/or subheadings

For example, if you are reading a chapter titled "Computer Memory", your questions might be "What is computer memory?", "Why is it necessary?", "When is computer memory important?" etc.

- Write your questions on 3x5 note cards while you are scanning the material (this helps you to learn and retain information)
